NOC Team Leader
ABOUT US:
Our Client, Vilcom Networks Limited is a communications company headquartered in Nairobi. Vilcom uses fiber optics technology to deliver affordable, reliable, and high-speed internet for homes and corporates
Vilcom’s network operations center (NOC) is the central station that hosts system engineers and customer experience executives who supervise, monitor and maintain our telecommunications network to ensure that customers get uninterrupted and fast internet throughout.
They are looking for a NOC Team leader who will work closely with management as well as lead the NOC team to ensure that the objectives are met.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for managing and handling NOC call centre
- Responsible for handling sales and customer onboarding processes.
- Responsible for managing and coordinating the NOC team and ensuring that the networking system runs efficiently without interruption.
- Continually focus efforts on automation of the Network operation Centre.
- Assisting customers, ensuring prompt resolution of clients’ inquiries, distributing tasks to the staff, and monitoring the employees’ performance/KPIs.
- Handling basic technical issues, such as reactivations and reconnections.
Qualifications
- Holds a Bachelors Degree in IT or IT related course.
- A demonstrated track record of basic technical (IT) understanding, deep customer service and call center experience as well as analytics skills.
- Has a minimum of three years experience working in a similar field.
